Elder Blomquist with his current companion, Elder Crosby. He says Elder Crosby is his favorite companion so far because he has learned so much from him. Elder Blomquist is transferring tomorrow so he is a little sad to have only been with Elder Crosby for 6 weeks.
We were able to Skype with him today for Christmas. It was wonderful to see him. He looks good and says he hasn't gained or lost any weight yet (but he has only been out 101 days so there is still time). He never was much of a conversationalist so we had to keep asking questions to get him talking. He says he is LOVING Idaho. He wants to be transferred often so he can see more of it and meet more of the people. He says all the members he has come in contact with have been wonderful and take really good care of the missionaries. They had a Christmas lunch and two Christmas dinners lined up for today.
