Dear Elder Blomquist
It all starts with the Mission Call. The call actually arrived on Thursday, June 9, 2011. That, however, was the day of Alex's high school graduation. Mom and Dad weren't going to let Ricky's mission call overshadow her on her day. So... Mom hid it from him. (Can you believe that?!!!) The next evening, in the presence of family and friends, Ricky opened his call.
Dear Elder Blomquist, You are hereby called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Boise, Idaho Mission. Report to the Provo, MTC on Sept. 14, 2011.
The yellow tabs all over the map are the places we were guessing that he might be sent.
